At 5:00 a.m. my alarm went off.
Somewhere around 5:06 a.m. this phrase entered my mind, “Bigger, Better, Bolder!”
While shaking off the sleepiness, I began to ponder the future.
In this case 2020.
Not an audible voice, but I felt like God was impressing upon me that 2020 was going to be a break out year for me.
As I am prone to do I began to ask God questions.
“Are you sure you said break out? You may have said break-up, break in, break down, break my neck, back or leg, are you sure it was break out?”
It was, it is and it will be.
For you as well.
Begin to ask God what He has for you in the future.
We often hide behind, “He’ll tell me when He tells me.”
Which at times can be a way of saying, “I really do not want to know. The future scares me. Please God, I would rather not know.”
Guess what?
The future is coming straight toward you anyway.
God does not hide our future from us nor the path that we should take.
Ask him to make you bigger, better and bolder for the future.
Bigger in your sphere of influence.
Better in your sensitivity to the need of others.
Bolder in your dreams to explore your influence as it relates to the needs of others.
You might even write those words down somewhere so you can see them.
God has a bright future for you and it can be and should be and will be, bigger, better and bolder.
“For I know the thoughts that I think for you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
I wrote it down! Thanks.
One of my favorite scriptures!
I also wrote it down and put it in my book of practical notes for those I leave behind. This has been my life verse for many years.
